I am a registered Psychotherapist and have an inviting, sunny, and spacious studio in St Catharines, serving children and adults of all ages and abilities in the Niagara Region. I offer a wide variety of materials and art-forms. Clients in my studio and workshops have used woodwork, soapstone, clay, movement, music making, mask-making, clowning, circus-skills and painting to acknowledge and work through some of their issues.
My studies in Canada started with Arscura, School of Exploration and Development of Art in the Healing and Social Fields, and continued at the CREATE Institute in Toronto. I have worked over 10 years in the field, and I have been in private practice since 2009. For the past four years, I offered weekly sessions to in-patients at the local Hospital. For two years, I trained and taught at The Attachment and Trauma Treatment Center for Healing in St David, Niagara. I always enjoy attending and offering workshops with the Native Communities in the Region.
Before 2002 I lived in Northern Ireland and worked for the Community Circus School in Belfast. I also developed several projects together with ethnic minorities, including Travellers, which won an award from the UK Millennium Commission.
