Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists

On April 1st 2015, the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario was proclaimed however, the controlled act of psychotherapy has NOT been proclaimed at this time but is anticipated. The CRPO is the legal governing and regulating body for the practice of psychotherapy in Ontario.

The CRPO has been in development in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and a key group of stakeholders. The current registration regulations, code of ethics, by-laws and much more can be found on the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario website.

Both the Grandparenting and Regular application processes  are now available. However, the online Jurisprudence e-learning module ($60.00) must be completed before you can apply. See the Jurisprudence study document (free).
