Anwar Nasr

Artist and Expressive Arts Therapist

My name is Anwar Nasr and I am an artist and an Expressive Arts Therapist working in the Metro Vancouver area. I am also a son, a brother, an uncle, and a human being with all their simplicities, complexities, beauty, and their challenges. I have been through my own healing journey and it has inspired me to shift my career to focus on facilitating such journey for others. Along my path, I have encountered, explored and experienced the arenas of permission, play, voice, movement, drama, masks, clown, puppetry, somatic experiencing, and reiki.

I employ a client centered intermodal approach to therapy that is catered to you. There are no problems to fix or symbols to interpret.  It is all about you and your journey. One that is facilitated by imagination through creativity with me holding the space. You do not need  previous arts training or experience, and you don’t need to consider yourself artistic or creative to benefit from this work. Simply bring your curiosity to explore the arts and yourself.
