Biography

Ayana is an EXAT with a solid background in Dance and Movement.

She has her private practice in Richmond Hill, ON, providing individual psychotherapy for children and adults.

Ayana is a group facilitator with over 15 years of experience in working in different settings with a variety of populations such as refugees, seniors, children and adults with Mental Health challenges and complex disabilities, and individuals with ambulatory disabilities.

She possesses MA in Psychology (Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, Russia), diplomas in Expressive Arts Therapy (The CREATE Institute, Toronto), and Dance/Movement Psychotherapy (Institute of Psychoanalysis and Practical Psychology, Moscow, Russia).

Ayana is a supervisor supporting The CREATE students and Dance Therapy students in their practicums.

She is fluent in English and Russian.

Ayana  works  with the following populations:

Individually:

– Children with anxiety, ADD, ADHD, ODD and various emotional and social disturbances.

– Adults suffering from anxiety, depression, vital fatigue, or burnout; living with trauma; dealing with a loss or a transition in life; experiencing a complex relationship or being a recent immigrant adjusting to life in your new country.
