Biography

Hello! I am an artist and seeker who has spent her life looking for “her place” in the world. I am very familiar with the feeling of never quite fitting. I have always been intent on creating spaces that nurture the self and soul through art. As an expressive arts therapist, I see this as my work. I value the sanctity of spaces in which we all can re-claim suppressed and ignored parts of ourselves, and write our own stories, releasing the harmful aspects of our culture’s influences on our sense of who we are (or can be!). I love to support people in re-defining themselves and opening bigger doors in life. It is especially important to me to keep building the spaces for voices that have been missing from the collective conversation. I use an intersectional feminist, anti-oppressive, anti-colonial, trauma-informed, and systems lens to the best of my ability. I am committed to my own ongoing learning within each of these frameworks to support my practice, and welcome open conversation about any of these topics in my practice. I identify as neurodivergent, and deeply value the ways that different ways of thinking and being in the world enrich our experiences in ways often missed.  I like to use visual arts, tactile media, writing and poetry, drama, play, movement, and sound work in my sessions. The sky is the limit!
