Shawna Lee Campbell
RECE, OCELT, ICTEAL, ExAT, RP (Qualifying)Biography
My name is Shawna Lee Campbell. I am an Expressive Arts Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) currently accepting new clients.
I am also a Registered Early Childhood Educator and Ontario Certified English Language Instructor. My experience in early childhood has given me a strong foundation in the art of play, that I incorporate into my work in expressive arts therapy, as well as into my daily life. I am a mermaid at heart, I enjoy hulahooping and recently started learning to roller skate. I am a writer, painter, visual artist, poet, and performance artist.
My experience in English language education has given me strong skills in group facilitation, cultural awareness, sensitivity and humility, as well as experience building a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive practice. These values are the core of all that I do.
As an emerging expressive arts therapist, I work at the intersection of body, mind, spirit, energy, and connection— embracing the full spectrum of human emotion, while exploring the endless paths that creativity and play offers for healing and transformation.
I offer a sliding scale and provide sessions online. I am happy to work with anyone who is interested in exploring creativity in a therapeutic setting.
