Songqin Wei
Registered Psychotherapist, Expressive Arts PractitionerBiography
As a Registered Psychotherapist and Expressive Arts Practitioner, I believe that everyone is an innate artist, capable of using art to explore their inner worlds, uncover hidden strengths, and heal. This belief underpins my conviction that each person has the capacity to flow through life’s challenges and grow in resilience. Inspired by the concept of flowing like water—fluid, flexible, and resilient—I support clients in embracing life’s ups and downs, fostering growth and transformation.
At Flow and Grow Psychotherapy, I provide a safe and supportive space for clients to discover their true selves. My practice is rooted in the Chinese word 念 (niàn), which symbolizes a heartfelt connection to the present moment. Through integrating Expressive Arts and Somatic work, I help clients connect deeply with their body, mind, and spirit. For those unfamiliar with these methods, I also incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, tailoring my approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
