Learning Goals
1. Introduction to Tribal Theory Global as a foundational healing practice:
Participants will gain and understanding of tribal theory global and it’s relevance as the
healing practice. This will introduce exploring methods such as sensory dialogue,
symbolism, and ceremony, all enriched through the Expressive Arts.
2. Learning and creating transformational Techniques: Participants will learn and
create transformational, performative, and shape shifting techniques that empower
them to discern and communicate their true selves. By utilizing recycled materials we
will examine hidden, undervalued, or discarded aspects of ourselves, engaging in a
meaningful process of self-discovery.
3. Art-Making as Metaphor: We will use art making as a metaphor and an interactive
medium to transcend our lived experiences, transforming them into symbols of
personal significance. Participants will explore how creativity can serve as pathways to
deeper self-understanding.
4. Exploration of Identity Through Expressive Arts: Together, we will delve into our
inner selves and express these discoveries outwardly through the expressive arts. This
process will engage individuals to reclaim their authentic selves and explore aspects of
individuality, contemplating whether they identify as a hunter, a homebody, or a
guardian.
