With a deep passion for human behaviour and development, she is driven by our fundamental need for love, safety, and belonging. Beyond her work as a therapist, Vitina is a poet, writer, and visual artist who believes in the transformative power of the arts. She sees creative expression as a cathartic outlet and a valuable resource during times of difficulty and transition. This passion led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University and a Diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy from The Create Institute.

While her formal education has shaped her knowledge, Vitina’s greatest teachers have been her own lived experiences-navigating trauma, relationships, infertility, adoption, parenthood, grief, and bereavement. Most recently, her journey through breast cancer and survivorship has further deepened her understanding of resilience and healing. These experiences allow her to bring an empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to her work, supporting clients with honesty and compassion.
